Book an appointment
If you need an urgent on the day appointment, please call the surgery at 8.00 in the morning.
If no appointments are available, you will be directed to urgent care centre or another healthcare provider.
How to book an appointment
If your appointment is urgent, please call at 8:00am to arrange for a GP to see you on the same day where possible or refer you to an appropriate healthcare provider.
Please use Pharmacy First for the seven conditions they are able to help with, without you needing to see a GP. Priory Road Medical Centre offer online booking.
To request a non-urgent medical appointment please use our Systmconnect tool
Triage System
Throughout the day, our trained reception team will review all requests for non urgent appointments in order to ascertain whether their problem can be dealt with quickly over the telephone or whether they need to make an appointment to come in and see the GP or nurse practitioner or in some instances refer you to a community pharmacist who will call you back within 24 hours of the referral.
Our aim is to provide:
- Faster access to a GP for patients
- More convenient access
- Better use of time for our GPs and patients
- Ensure some appointments are available for patients with chronic complex illnesses
Please note that we will still be operating the same system for pre-bookable appointments and these can be available up to 3 weeks in advance for doctors and 4 weeks for nurses.
